Addison Stables '25 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball at 9 years old and after playing my first tournament, I fell in love with every aspect of the sport. Since that moment, I’ve worked on being a better player and allowing myself to improve for the good of my team. Giving my all in volleyball is not the only thing I am focused on, as I have the aspirations to pursue a graduate level degree in psychology in the future. Earning and maintaining my 4.0 GPA throughout high school has been an achievement that I am very proud to have accomplished.

Learning the game of volleyball has not only taught me how to balance my athletics with academics, but rather how to be a better person in general by teaching me lessons I can carry with me through life. Setting the foundation to be a servant leader and remain coachable have been values that I hold very high for myself, and also hold others accountable through demonstration. My moral compass is founded on the following personal values, which are represented by the acronym RISE:  Reliability, Integrity, Stability, and Empathy. 

I know my love for volleyball will continue to teach me lessons for the rest of my life and hope my skills and ethics allow me to be a good fit for your team.
