My dream is to play volleyball at a collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Biochemistry and then going on to Pharmacy school. I enjoy being academically challenged and I am currently enrolled in all honors and AP courses that are offered to me.
As an athlete, I have always been competitive and driven to succeed. I am a leader and an encourager on the volleyball court. As the libero for both my club and high school varsity teams, I have worked hard to develop the leadership and vocal skills that are needed to be successful in this important position. I enjoy playing defense because a great pass is the start to a great offensive play. I pride myself in being a great passer for the team.
The greatest lesson that I have learned from volleyball is that everyone makes mistakes. I used to think that I could not make mistakes because I did not want to let my team down. Through my club experience and watching collegiate volleyball, I have learned that everyone makes mistakes. It is how you handle those mistakes and the lessons you learn from them that matters.
My personal goal in games is to stay focused. My future goal is to become a Pharmacist to help others live their best life. My collegiate goal is to combine both of my passions and attend a university that will allow me to succeed as a student-athlete.
