Hannah Rogers '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball when I was 10 years old and immediately fell in love with the sport!

I have been playing on a school team since 6th grade and a club team since 8th grade.  My freshmen season (2015) at Soddy Daisy High School, I was starting setter on the Freshmen team and was also setter on the Junior Varsity team.  For the 2016 season, I was a starting setter for the Varsity team.  I was the starting Varsity setter again for my 2017 junior year season.  I am once again the starting Varsity setter for the 2018 team (senior year!)  I have played four seasons for Scenic City Volleyball Club,  where I have been Captain of my 15-1, 16-1, and 17-1 teams.  I also enjoy refereeing volleyball games for the Soddy Daisy Kids Club and the Hamilton County Elementary Volleyball league.

I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my years at Soddy Daisy High School, and am currently ranked 18th out of 268 students in the 2019 graduating class.  I am enrolled in Honors classes in order to earn an Honors degree, and have also taken AP courses my Junior year and have enrolled in Dual Enrollment classes for my senior year.  I have been accepted into Beta Club and National Honors Society.   My goals for college are to achieve a four-year degree, and to represent my school on the volleyball court.  I am committed to continuing to work hard in both the classroom and on the court!
