Amanda Mink '14 Recruiting Profile

I first discovered my passion for volleyball my freshman year of high school.  In middle school, I played softball and select basketball.   I enjoyed these sports; however, I didn't feel the passion to play these other sports as I do volleyball.  I worked hard and was fortunate enough to be recruited for a National Club Team every year since my freshman year.  My aspirations are to finish my high school career with a strong senior season by qualifying for playoffs again and to attend Nationals with my club team. I take pride in achieving the personal goals I set; however, I know the titles we reach together as team, rather than an individual, is just as important!  I am determined to attend a college that will not only fulfill my educational requirements but will also offer the opportunity to contribute to a successful college volleyball program.  I plan to pursue a career in the medical field.  Schools with proven excellence in science and biology are my first preference.
