My name is Madison Meyer. I am seventeen years old and I will be graduating from Timberview High School (Arlington, TX) in May 2020. In high school, I played soccer and I powerlifted along with volleyball. This is my third year starting on varsity as a DS/Libero, setter and hitter, but my main position in club and school volleyball is DS/Libero. I am captain of my school team and I lead them by staying positive and encouraging them, no matter what is happening on the court. I have played volleyball since I was ten years-old and this will be my sixth consecutive year playing club for Texas Image. Last club season we competed in five national Qualifies and the National Tournament in Indianapolis. My teammates would describe me as aggressive, committed and always willing to work hard.
I also contribute a lot of my time volunteering in the community. In church, I teach classes, usher and team up with special needs students.
In the future, I would love to join the Peace Corps or helping the environment. In life, I want to make the world a better place.
