Diarra Foley '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Diarra Foley! I am 17 years old and a current senior at Desoto High School in Desoto, TX.  I've played on the varsity level for three years and have played club volleyball for 7 years. I'm a well-rounded volleyball player gifted with the ability to play front and back row.  Volleyball is my passion and I would love to bring my leadership and enthusiasm to your program.  

My speed, agility, and natural athleticism sets me apart from other players. I work hard each and every day, on and off the court to be a team leader and to set examples for those around me. My desire to WIN and to be the BEST is truly what motivates me.  I learned the true meaning of perseverance when I tore my ACL during district play my junior year (Sept 2017). It was devastating blow, but I've trained and rehabbed my knee and feel stronger, both physically and mentally. 

Through it all, it's taught me about overcoming adversity and never giving up on myself or my dreams.  If you're looking for a student athlete who is determined, disciplined and has a strong work ethic - I believe I would be an asset to your team!
