My goal is to get a volleyball scholarship while getting my degree in Psychology . Volleyball is my passion and I want to play for as long as I can . Due to my right thumb getting fractured my sophomore summer I had to sit out nearly the whole volleyball season , and I only participated in the last 4 games on Junior Varsity . The following off season I worked my heart out and participated in the summer workouts program that was available . All my hard work paid off earning me the position as the starting setter on Varsity my junior year .
Also , I have never played on a club team like most girls but that is what I find unique about me . I have a natural, God-given talent but I am always willing and excited to learn the fundamentals and techniques to become a better player overall .
I am great in the classroom and I understand that maintaining a good GPA is important . I have always taken advanced, challenging classes to keep my GPA high.
I am a hardworking , dedicated player and that's what makes me a good candidate for a team . I am always willing to lead my team and my self to success .
