Personal Statement
I grew up watching my sister play volleyball. I fell in love with the sport; it is my passion. I play setter and outside hitter for my school team in La Grange, Texas For the past four years, I played outside hitter for my club team. I started the season by playing outside hitter again for my club team, Brazos Valley Juniors, but my coach moved me to middle shortly after the season started. When I got moved from OH to middle, I wasn't sure how I would like playing the position, but it has been so much fun. My goal is to continue to improve so I can be an asset to my team in any position on the court.
I am unsure of a college major, but I know that after graduation, I want to invest my money wisely with the hopes of becoming a philanthropist. I want to own several hundred acres of land and open a horse farm for children with special needs and children with cancer. I want to provide equine therapy to these children to assist them with their physical and psychological needs.
