Lanie Anne Doyle '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lanie and I’ve played club for 4 years. I was the only freshman to make the varsity team in 2017. We were District, Bi-District, and Area Champs. I have received Academic All District 2 years in a row and Honorable Mention All District in 2018 this school season. I am currently captain of my club team, Victoria Juniors, and I continue to be a good leader for my team. I always pump up my teammates during practice when it gets hard, and on the court when we are down. I have played outside hitter and I play all the way around in my club seasons, middle school, and now high school. I’m a very coachable player and open to playing new positions. Playing for any college and continue playing my favorite sport is my goal in life! The love I have for volleyball is so strong! I always push myself to be the best I can be and to keep getting better as a student and athlete. School is super important to me and I strive to get A’s. I work hard on and off the court and continue to get better at everything I do.I have also started to play sand volleyball and it is coming together really well, and I am entering several tournaments this summer.  Track and Field is another sport I succeed in. For example, I run the open 200, 4x2, Triple Jump, and Long Jump for my school, and we made it to regionals this year proudly. I was the highest point girl at our local track meet, and our 4x2 relay also competed in Texas Relays. I am a well rounded athlete, and love just being active. I am open to any college I could play for. Being in the medical field is a major that I’ve looked into, but I’m still undecided.
