2014 Playoff High...Personal Statement
I am a 5’9” Senior and I've played all 4 years on the Varsity team at Mineola High School in Mineola, Texas. I was named to the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State Team, this past year. This is my 7th year playing competitive volleyball on a club or school level. I currently play OH for my High School team, the previous 3 years I've play Middle. I have also done some setting, and am willing to play anywhere to help my team be successful at the next level. As you can see, I am a very versatile player and can help a team numerous ways.
At school, I not only compete in Volleyball, but I also compete in Basketball, which I participated on the Varsity level in all 4 years. I plan on competing in both sports this upcoming season, as well as play Club Volleyball this Spring. This upcoming Club season, I plan on continuing to play for East Texas Juniors 18s.
My goal is to play volleyball at a college where student-athletes can pursue excellence in both academics and athletics. I would like to pursue a career in sports, and am leaning towards being an Athletic Trainer or being a Coach, so I would like to pursue a college that offers this degree or gives me other options.
