My name is Bailey Boucher. I have played volleyball since I was 5 years old and have always had a passion for the sport. I played basketball until I got into highschool, and have continued playing softball throughout my high school years. My mom is my high school coach, and has coached for many years. I basically grew up in the gym, and it has always been a dream for me to be able to play at the collegiate level. I know what it takes to be a leader on the court having watched many others play before me. I have been a captain for my team the past 2 years, and strive to set a good example on and off the court. Working hard in the class room is just as important to me as working hard each time I step on the court. I moved schools my senior year, so I am able to adapt very well and make relationships with teammates, which is necessary when playing together. I believe I am a good candidate for your team because I am dedicated to bettering myself for everyone around me, I have a competitive nature, and I have a lot of knowledge about the sport of volleyball. Thank you for taking time to read my statement.
