I am currently working on putting up highlight videos of my 2020 and 2021 season at University of Arkansas Fort Smith #14.
I did not play 2022 season for injury/personal reason which I do not mind discussing. I still have 3 yrs of eligibility remaining.
2021: Fourth on the team with 172 kills...appeared in 29 matches playing 93 sets...averaged 1.85 kills per set...six matches with double figure kills...season-high 15 kills twice...hit .433 with 15 kills against St. Mary's...55 blocks...high of six blocks against Fort Lewis...LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2020: Appeared in nine matches playing 21 sets with one start...totaled 28 kills on a .216 attack percentage...season high 8 kills in LSC Tournament win over UTPB...added 13 blocks...four blocks in a win over Cameron.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Joseph High School...over four years of high school competition, Wharton compiled 1,328 kills, 715 blocks and 353 digs...Wharton has concluded her high school and club playing career being four-times First Team All-District, District MVP, two-times First Team All-State, two-times Second Team All-State, 2018 Tapps 5A State Champion and Tapps 5A All Tournament...she also earned Freshman Newcomer of the Year, STJ MVP, was a two-time Offensive Player of the Year, three-time AVCA Phenom, All-American Nominee, 2017 AAU National Champion and Victoria Advocate All-Area MVP honors...aside of athletic accomplishments, Savannah was also a two-time Academic All-State honoree and was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars while maintaining 3.4 GPA...at UAFS she will be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
My overall GPA is 3.7.
What make me different than others is I am still the one and only Savannah Wharton. There is no one else like me. You will never have to question or wonder where I stand, because you will know when I step on the court or in a classroom I will always give 100%.
The opportunity to get my education paid for while playing the game that I love is another motivation to stay FOCUS as well as HUMBLE. I'm very hard working, committed, and determined to succeed in life, this sport and being a leader. I truly believe that God is not done with me yet. :)
