Kaylin Elton '26 Recruiting Profile

I love volleyball. I don't want to stop playing at a high level. I know that there are recreational teams but I am not ready to move to a league where it is possible not everyone knows how to play well.

I am a great teammate and leader. I mostly try to lead by example by never taking a play off in a game or practice. I can be loud if needed to communicate and make sure everyone knows what is expected and where they are supposed to be. I am a student of the game and try to know every positions responsibilities and spacing. Even though I lead, I don't have to. I know I don't know everything and always want to learn. I try to be very coachable at all times and in all circumstances.

As a 4.0 student with dyslexia, I know the meaning of hard work. I know my academics and disability has helped me in my athletics as well as my athletics helping me with my academics. Nothing has ever been given to me and I have had to fight for everything I have achieved. I have learned to never give up even if a task seems never impossible.
