Samantha Pope '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Pope.  I am starting my Junior year this Fall 2023 at Lone Peak High School in Highland UT and will be graduating in 2025.  I have a 3.99 GPA and I am maintaining all A's.  I am currently taking AP Calc and AP Chemistry along with honors English this year.  I am 6'0" setter that played in a 5-1 offense for my club team named Vinaka Gold 16U.  This high school season I am the starting setter in a 6-2 offense, hitting opposite in the front row rotations.  Some of my proudest accomplishments are finishing 29th in 16 Open division at AAU Nationals 2023 last club season, and winning 6A UT state championship last year in 2022.  I am reliable on the court as I always challenge myself to get every pass, setup my hitters to be in 1on1 situations and attack when needed to put defense blocking on edge.  I am coach-able, take value in lifting up my teammates and carry positive energy with the team.
