Emily Strait '23 Recruiting Profile

I am currently attending Southwestern Community College and am the starting Libero here. I am looking to transfer to higher levels of volleyball this coming fall. I’ve loved volleyball since the first time I stepped into a gym and started playing. When people ask me to tell them something about myself the first thing I say is that I play volleyball. It’s a part of who I am, and something that makes me, me! I love this sport more than anything. When it comes to volleyball, I love to win. Not only that, but I love winning right. When playing, I’m a perfectionist, and I have to be better than the ball before every time. It’s next ball mentality and I’m always ready to get that next one. I love digging balls, serve receive, and most of all cheering on my teammates when they excel! I love it when I do good, but I celebrate even harder when my teammates do something good.
