Although I have a love for volleyball, it surpasses the fun element and the skills I learn and contribute to volleyball go deep into my character. I understand the value in mastering the basics so I can be dependable for myself and my team. I have an identical twin sister who also plays competitively and we take advantage of being able to train even when we aren’t in practice or tournaments. Along with practicing In our free time, we watch professional matches, identifying techniques we want to implement into our playing style.
I also have learned the value of health in my life and in others. Right now I take measures to make sure I can perform my best and inspire others to live a healthy lifestyle as well. I want to attend a university where I can apply my passion for helping people and health to become a medical professional. I love to learn in both academics and in sports and am often one of the first people to class and practice, and love to embrace feedback to help me improve even more.
Being an identical twin, I have learned that the power of a team is better than one.
