Casidee Karren '19 Recruiting Profile

I would like to find the college that will be the best fit for me.  I would love to go to a college that would be beneficial to my strong religious and moral beliefs.  I have a strong belief that there will always be players that are better than me but if I work harder than anyone on the court I will find a place to play.  I was selected for an award at Brigham Young University camp that I attended, it was the 'Hardest Worker Award' .  I have learned every position on the court which has greatly helped me this summer with open courts at our high school.  I have been able to assist the other girls on the team to know where they are suppose to be in each rotation. 

I have helped coach youth city volleyball league teams.  The 2 teams that I helped coach this year took first and second in their respective age groups.  I have also helped my high school coach put on leagues for junior high and elementary school kids.  I really like to help and teach because it makes me a better player when I can see something that doesn't look quite right it the technique of another player.  I have to be able to not only see that form is incorrect but figure out how to do it correctly as well as show someone how to do it correctly in a way that they would understand.
