Celestine Ah-Fua '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a coachable athlete who works hard on and off of the court. I am an ambidextrous 5''7" setter/ libero from Taylorsville, Utah. I have played 4 years of club, 2 years of elite, and 3 years of varsity high school. I am currently playing club with High Country Volleyball Club 18's Elite/ Kim Norman, my jersey is #17. 
All four years of high school volleyball, we placed 1st as region champs. In 2014, I was selected to be part of the Utah All-Star Team traveling to compete in the American Samoa Bowl. I have also played in the Girls Junior National Olympics in 2014. This year 2015 in high school season, we placed 6th in the 5A state tournament.

I am a volleyball player who is clear minded on what skills I need to improve both athletically and academically. I am very hard working and cooperative with other teammates. I choose to be a team leader in and out of the game. I like to stay focused on my goals as a player and as a student. My current GPA is, 3.1 accumulative and above 3.3 quaterly.  I am taking honors classes and AP classes  currently.

I am looking for a school that is competitive with great leadership and sportsmanship.  I am looking forward to positive experiences, to improve as a player and to finding ways to overcome all of my challenges as a college volleyball player and student. I'm excited to taking a step forward with this new chapter in my life, by being focused and being committed.  I am the youngest of five children and my goal is to study in the Medical field.
