As a student athlete, I have dedicated a lot of my life to schoolwork and after school practices. The consistency of being around sports that much really brought me to want to focus on that in the future. When I grow up I want to be a sports reporter, on the marketing team in a sports organization, or a Volleyball/Football coach. In volleyball, I want to play at the next level. I know that volleyball will always be a part of my life and I intend to play in college. The thing that will set me apart from other recruits is my drive and approach to this game. My approach to this game is staying competitive while also being a consistent leader to my teammates and doing everything in my power to get the most successful version of myself and my teammates out. While I grew up playing an individual sport, I am a great teammate and a great leader. If you watch me play, it is likely that I would be running into a ref stand, score table, or chairs at any given time. That really shows the player I am and how I will fight for my teammates. Growing up in football, I also learned the competitive nature of men. I am always the loudest player on the court because I've only ever known these loud and crazy celebrations. Academically, I understand that I separate myself negatively compared to other recruits. However that doesn't show how much my academic abilities. I am a smart person I just wasn't smart with my study habits and I fell behind because of different mental issues. I take full accountability for my GPA and I am aware that it is all me. However, My GPA is not a reflection of my work ethic in life and my character.
