At some point in my volleyball career I have played every single position. I started playing volleyball my Freshman year of high school. It was a late start but I have put in a lot of work to become a competitive player. My freshman year I was a starter on the JV team and got the team award for being someone who never gives up and always keeps the team going. My sophomore year I was Team Captain on the JV team and got the MVP award. Toward the end of my sophomore season I got pulled up to varsity for post season. My junior and senior year I was a starter on varsity.
I am always looking to put in extra time where I can. Every coach I have had has made it clear that you have to be willing to work hard and put in the extra time practicing to be a competitive volleyball player. You get what you put out. Every time I step onto the court I am eager and ready to work. I noticeably bring energy and enthusiasm that keeps my teammates and I fired up with a will to win. I am very coachable and always wanting to get better. I will be one of the hardest working players on your team. I never hold back and I always have a smile on my face with a positive attitude.
I have a current GPA of a 4.1 . I work hard in the classroom just like I do on the court. I want to pursue the health field, preferably sports medicine or physical therapy. It is very important that my school has a program to fit my academic needs. If I am on your team I will make a difference.
