My name is Mya Vincent. I started playing varsity volleyball my junior year of high school. To be able to earn a starting position, I had to work harder and practice more and for extensive hours. My work ethic and grit is something that sets me apart. This is reflected not only in volleyball but in my academics. I am a leader, not only on the court but in my community and school. I have a vivacious personality and interpersonal skills which allows me to connect with various people with varying personalities. I show positivity, enthusiasm, and effort with everything I do. I am able to be vocal on and off the court, encourage and say impactful things to my teammates and those who are surrounded by me. I want to connect with different people, grow, and display my work ethic and leadership at a collegiate level. Along with doing what I love-playing volleyball.
