Hi! My name is Sierra Ellison, I absolutely love playing volleyball and it would be amazing to continue to play in college. I'm looking for a four year college and to get a bachelor's degree in Film/Video Production and Film Studies. I have always had a love for movies and what work goes into making them. To be able to produce and learn how to make various movies is a dream of mine, and with the growing amount of female directors, I would love to be a part of that movement.
I started volleyball when I was in 6th grade, and have loved every minute of it. I have played on a school team for five years, with the first two years in middle/junior high school. The past three years I've played on my high school's team (Powhatan High School). As an eighth grader I was a starter on my high school's JV team. My freshman and sophomore year I was a starter on the varsity team. In my sophomore year, I was named first team in the All-Jefferson District and was named second team All-Region. When I was in 7th grade I played my first season of club volleyball and have been playing it ever since at Richmond Volleyball Club. I have met some of my best friends through club season, and have enjoyed the numerous memories I have shared with them.
My personality is very fun and energetic, while also getting serious during games and practices. I like to push myself constantly which motivates me to do everything on the court to the best of my ability to help the team.
