I enjoy facing new challenges in life, and I bring the same mindset to the volleyball court. I was born in Brazil, and in 2017, I moved to the U.S. I adapted very quickly and was able to find my way in a new country and new school. I am a dedicated player that sees my mistakes as learning opportunities, and I don’t get down on myself on or off the court. I’m known for maintaining a positive attitude and encouraging my teammates no matter what the score is. I am a good fit for the Libero position, because I take initiative and never give up on a play. My favorite subjects in school are Science and Social Studies. I really enjoy participating in Science National Honor Society meetings and events, and I had a lot of fun planning and designing the Class of 2022's Homecoming Float. Outside of school, I volunteer through St. John the Apostle Catholic Church's Youth Group, where we hold fundraisers, help veterans and participate in youth conferences. I also enjoy reading novels and being outdoors visiting new places, sometimes by bike or while going for a run. I would like to go to a university that challenges me academically and would love to continue playing volleyball after high school.
