Sydney Mitchell '22 Recruiting Profile

   I live in a rural area in Central Virginia. We're situated about 60 miles from Washington D.C. Since farming is a big thing where I live, I enjoy going to the local farmer's market to buy fresh food. Cooking and baking are hobbies that I enjoy. I go to a great school, where my course load includes: double maths, double science, and Honors English. At my school, I am part of the jazz ensemble. I play clarinet, and I'm teaching myself piano. I also enjoy other fine arts such as painting and drawing. When it comes to my sports, I work hard to improve and strengthen my team. Outside of volleyball, I play varsity basketball. Basketball is also a state championship-caliber team. I enjoy the competition and enjoy the challenges that come with it. I am very excited about the last year of my high school career and to play at the next level.
