Deja Clarke '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Déja Clarke. I am an outside hitter with a 10'2" vertical approach.  I have been a member of the varsity team during my freshman, sophomore, and senior years at Forest Park High School. I was selected to be on the first team for Cardinal All-District sophomore (2019) and senior year(2021). I was selected to be on the first team 6B All-Region during my senior year as well.  I was a starter on the  National Team at the American volleyball club for five years. I now play at VA Juniors on the 18's National Team. I am a very coachable and versatile athlete. I have always been encouraging to my teammates and I try to never lose hope or give up in a game. My motto is always to strive to be better because you can only go up. I have always been a very dedicated and hard-working person. Since I started playing volleyball I fell in love with it and it is my dream to play in college. I have a passion for Forensic Science and want to major it in during college.  I balance school and volleyball very well so I never lose focus of my overall goal to succeed.
