Hello! My name is Shahar Yoel and I am an aspiring student-athlete eagerly anticipating the opportunity to play volleyball at the college level. I am an Israeli immigrant and I'm aiming to be the first person in my family to go to college in the U.S.! I am a dedicated student who always puts forth 100% effort in everything I do. In addition to my passion for volleyball, I also enjoy painting, swimming, playing the drums, and weightlifting. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently excelled in my studies and was enrolled in Running Start at Bellevue College where I completed college courses such as Anthropology 107, Intro to Statistics, and Introduction to Mass Media. Maintaining a high GPA has always been a priority for me and I am determined to continue this success in my future studies.
As for my athletic pursuits, I am honored to serve as captain of the volleyball team at Lake Washington High School, where I have been on varsity and a starting player since my freshman year. Furthermore, I have been honing my skills through club volleyball for nearly seven years and I am thrilled to be completing my last club season at NPJ on the 18 National team. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I look forward to keeping in touch!
