Haleigh See '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Haleigh See. I graduated from Naselle where I have received a unique education in many ways. I played three sports a year, and am active in many clubs. I live on a beef farm in a rural area. I love volleyball. I have always wanted to play college volleyball. I have played volleyball for 7 years. I am a 5'5" setter. I have been on varsity for three years. I am a two year starter and a two year varsity captain. My greatest accomplishment was my senior season I was voted Pacific All League Honorable Mention. My junior year I received the Coaches Award and that definitely has been a highlight for me, knowing that my coach thinks highly of me. Another highlight in my junior year I was voted by my team as most inspirational. I work hard. I put the time in to be a great athlete. I am very competitive. I work hard to be the best at what I do. I know I have more drive and determination than more athletes you will meet. I have five stress fractures in my spine. I played my whole senior season knowing that and still worked just as hard as everyone else on the team or harder. I am the first person in the gym and the last one to leave, always wanting to know what I can to do improve my personal skills. I would like to play at a smaller school. I would like to play semi close to home, but I am okay with going a ways away. I would like to play in the Pacific Northwest. I live in Washington, and anything close to home would be great. I am interested Division II and III schools. I am also interested in attending a Christian school. Academics are important to me as well. A school that cares about the students and their grades is a perfect fit for more. I am also open to any type of school that is ready to have me play. If you are interested in contacting me no matter what the school, I will definitely respond. I do need financial aid. I am very interested in majoring in physical therapy/ athletic training. I am not totally sure about that, but that is what I intend to major in now. I would like to get as much playing as possible. Red shirting is fine with me. I just want to be on a team, and add to the program. I bring a lot of dedication, hard work, and spirit to the floor, and would make a great addition to any team.  Currently I am enrolled at Washington State University.  I am looking to transfer and play volleyball next season.  Even though I have not been playing this season, I am in the gym five times a week.  I am working hard to stay in shape and be a great volleyball player.
