Sydney Walker '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Sydney Walker. I've tried every sport out there throughout my life, but I've never enjoyed or loved any other sport more than volleyball. I found the sport when I was 10 years old and I never looked back! Ever since then, my entire life has revolved around family, volleyball, school and my faith. My ultimate goal is to push myself to play at the best of my ability at all times. I want to be my best and play at the highest level that my potential will allow.  I'm thankful to have been blessed with individuals who have inspired me in so many ways, whether that be in volleyball or life in general. That's exactly what I want to be for someone else. I aspire to be a leader on AND off the court and that is something I will always stand by. My drive is to always be moving forward, improving my skills, and bettering myself so that I will continue to grow and become stronger. I fully understand that having the privilege of being on a college roster includes endless commitments and many sacrifices, and that is a step that I'm excited to take. 

I am a full-time student in a dual credit program called “Running Start” earning college level credits. By participating in this, I will be able to graduate with my high school diploma along with earning credits toward a degree. I'm extremely grateful for this opportunity given to me. Pushing myself to do this is preparing me for my future, and conditioning me to never put a limit on my potential whether that's in life, on the court, or in the classroom.
