I am very new to playing volleyball, unlike many other people who want to play in college. I started playing when my friend convinced me to in 9th grade (my school has a no-cut policy) and I made the JVC team that year. I ended up loving volleyball, and have since quit playing lacrosse in order to pursue it more. I have made my way from JVC to JV and finally, this year (11th grade) to varsity. I am fully committed to improving every chance I get. I have signed myself up for countless summer camps, tryouts, and clinics in order to be at the level I am today. My hope is that playing in college will give me the opportunity to not only continue playing the sport I love for as long as possible, but also improve by competing at as high a level as possible. I have always been very self-motivated to improve my volleyball skills, and if given the opportunity to play in college I know I will continue to do so because of my love for the sport and the amazing team dynamic it creates.
