Ever since I can remember, my biggest goal and dream in life has been to play NCAA D1 college volleyball. I started playing volleyball as soon as I could walk, first with a balloon, then a volley-light, and now a regular volleyball. I was born into the volleyball world and want to remain in it for as long as possible. Playing this sport genuinely brings me joy and is what gets me through day to day life in high school. Something that is really important to my family and I is the quality of hard work, and no matter what I am doing I always try to the be the hardest worker. My mom has taught me that there are a lot of things in life that you can't control. You can't control your height, how much money your family has, or sometimes even who is on your volleyball team. Instead of obsessing over the things that I can't control, I choose to obsess over those that I can. I focus on always being a learner (on and off the court), I focus on working as hard as I possibly can, and I focus on getting at least 1% better everyday!
