Evelyn Wenger '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a strong all around player who can play OH, OPP, or Setter. I have a strong jump reach, quick arm swing, and good instincts for getting around a block. One of the biggest attributes I bring is that I play best under pressure. The invigoration of intense competition brings out my best. As a result, I was a starter on the State Championship Columbia River High School team as a sophomore, and I contributed many kills and blocks to have a tremendously successful season.  I have great setting hands and a solid block that make me a strong right side, but I also love playing outside, which I have done most of my club years. One thing coaches will like about me is my strong work ethic and commitment to improvement on and off the court. I am a dedicated student athlete, and I am looking to play at the right college for me. I see myself at Division 2, 3, or NAIA level. I would love to play for a University that has a competitive team and a good psychology or business program.
