I started playing volleyball when I was 12 years old and ever since then nothing compares to the amount of joy it brings me. Volleyball has brought me happiness, friends, and has taught me perseverance, confidence, and purpose. Playing volleyball at a collegiate level is my dream and I will work very hard to achieve this goal. I am a hard worker not only with volleyball but with my education also. I take difficult classes as I really enjoy being challenged. This year I am my high school’s varsity and program captain. I consider myself a strong leader who my teammates can rely on and trust, and a role model to the underclassman.
