My athletic career started when I was six years old. I did gymnastics for seven years and decided to quit because I was interested in school sports. In eighth grade I tried out volleyball and instantly fell in love with the sport. I loved hitting, passing, setting, blocking, and serving. As a freshman I played as an outside hitter on the JV team for Zillah High School. As a sophomore, junior, and senior I played as an outside hitter on the varsity team. I’ve also played as an outside hitter for Club Lokahi for the past 4 years. Throughout my five years of playing volleyball I’ve learned how to be a leader, to play as a team, always have a positive attitude, always try your best, and to never give up. My academic goals for high school are to graduate with a 4.0 G.P.A and an Honors Diploma. My academic goals for college is to be on the Dean’s List and to have a 4.0 G.P.A. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I have the talent, determination, work-ethic, and leadership skills to compete in college.
