Shannon Hahn '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shannon Hahn. I attend East Hardy High School as a senior this year. This will be my third year as a Varsity captain for my high school volleyball team.  I am one of our two setters on the floor, the other one being my younger sister.  I play smart, I am mentally strong and equipped knowing each part of the game and how to use it to my benefit.  Seeing the floor and reading the hitter are two of my strongest assets I bring on the court.  Calling each play before it happens is one of my main jobs on the floor this year as the only senior leader.  Teaching and helping my teammates get better and improve their skills is an important role I play on the floor.  Physically I am not the tallest player on our team and therefore have to use different strategies to out play the other team.  I love the challenge and competitiveness of the game. I always strive to be better than I was in the previous game, I never stop working to better myself. I play with confidence  and passion, I always try to bring a positive attitude to the court.
