Becky Mantoan No ...Personal Statement
I am what my coaches call a "utility player," as I've played all positions on the court and am solid in the back row, most often both outside/right side hitter and defensive specialist. I was voted "Most Improved Player" by my JV coaches two seasons ago, under coach Miranda Martens. This past club season, I was a part of the 18 Pink team at Revolution Volleyball Academy (RVA), under coaches Betsy Martell and Greg Fairfield. The previous two seasons, I played 16s for Sporting MKE, under coach Andy Collins and 15s for Next Level.
I am focused and quick to react on the court, as shown by my videos.
Volleyball has allowed me to grow as a team player, after many years as a competitive gymnast. I enjoy knowing I can help any team with my versatility and am always looking to improve my skills. I am a 4-semester honor roll student at Franklin High School in the extremely academically-talented class of 2021.
