Emily Dickmann '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since 5th grade, both for club and school. It has always been a sport that I have excelled in and have enjoyed playing. I enjoy being part of a team and take pride in being a good teammate. I enjoy the environment of the game and being part of important and crucial moments that the game presents.
In terms of academics, I am hoping to study the field of psychology and become an occupational therapist or speech therapist. Beginning at the age of 4, I began volunteering at a nursing home and continued volunteering throughout high school. Volunteering and helping the elderly for so many years helped me realize that I have a passion for helping others, specifically the elderly. I hope to continue this passion in college and in my future career. In addition, I have maintained a high GPA throughout all my years of school and have maintained high honors throughout high school.
