Personal Statement

I am a powerful 6'1" Outside Hitter from River Falls, Wisconsin who is very passionate about the game of volleyball!  I am in my seventh year of JO volleyball with Kokoro Volleyball. Last year, our Kokoro 15-1s team won the USA Volleyball National Division National Championship!  I am a two year starting OH on the River Falls High School varsity volleyball team.  As a starter, I helped lead my team to the first Conference title in 21 years as a freshman and won it again my sophomore year. We made it to the first State Tournament in school history my freshman year and returned to the State Tournament my sophomore year, where we were state runner-up.  I led the varsity team in kills both seasons and had the highest passer rating.  I made first team - all conference both years and was named to the All-State team my sophomore year.

I pride myself on having a positive attitude and you will usually see a big smile on my face when I’m playing volleyball and just in general!  I am a very hard worker who always pushes to be my best self in the classroom and in the gym.  When I do have a little bit of down time I enjoy gaming with my friends.  I am looking for a university that offers a strong computer science program and in general I hope to find a place that feels like “home”.  I would like to play for a volleyball program that is competitive, and that would push me to be the best volleyball player I'm capable of being. I am interested in schools in the Southeast as well as the Midwest, however, I am open to colleges in other parts of the country that are a good academic and athletic fit for me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
