Personal Statement

Throughout my life, volleyball has challenged me to become the best person possible, on and off the court. Personally,  volleyball is not a game, it's a lifestyle, and has continually shaped me into who I am.  When I step onto the court, I am not only trying to improve my game, but to be an inspiring role model and teammate for others. As a student athlete, captain, and a team member, I strive to work hard, play hard, and bring my best game forward. I never give up. I want college coaches to see my profile, see my ability, see my passion for volleyball and say, "I want that girl on my team!" I am not only looking for a competitive volleyball experience, I am also looking forward to a challenging college experience as well and would like to persue a degree as an Orthodontist. As an athlete I strongly believe in taking care of your body--I am part of the board Pledgemakers, a club at my high school that promotes a drug-free healthy lifestyle.  We recently completed our successful annual "Blacklight Volleyball Fundraiser".  This past summer I volunteered at our local hospital and skilled nursing centers learning and caring of older adults.  This has taught me to appreciate a healthy lifesytle as well.  I hope you will take a moment to learn more about me!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
