Ashley Byron '22 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Ashley Byron and I’m a 2022 grad goalie and field player for Topaz Water Polo Club in Phoenix, Arizona. I have been swimming competitively since the age of 5, and began playing water polo at 13. I recently moved to Arizona from Japan to pursue my dream of playing water polo at an elite collegiate level. In Japan, I had the honor to play for the National Youth Team. Some of my highlights are being named MVP at the ages of 14 and 16 at the 16U Nationals in Japan. I love a tough challenge. I believe my experience, discipline, and work ethic have helped me to effectively read and assist offensive and defensive plays not only as a goalie but in the field as well.  

I look forward to taking the next step to college athletics and I am extremely dedicated to achieving my dream of potentially playing water polo at an elite collegiate level.
