Hello,
My name is Nancy Baylor-Sefchick. I’ll be starting my Senior year in the fall. The opportunity to communicate with college coaches is something I’ve been looking forward to. I’m committed to becoming a valuable part of a team playing at the next level. I want to give everything I have to water polo, hopefully getting the chance to play out of the country, while pushing forward with my goals of a career in marine biology, epidemiology, or social justice.
My first experience playing was in a rec league at nine years old. I was instantly in love with the game, but I also learned to adore the interactions that happen within the team. I’ve had the privilege of being inspired by a countless number of players, and coaches. I’ve learned that the relationships you create make the defeating moments worth fighting through. So not only is my goal to play at the highest levels, but also to be part of a community that inspires other athletes to be their best selves both in and out of the water. Being part of so many unique teams has really contributed to the versatility I have as a player. One of the best feelings for me is being able to adapt during a game with success.
Thank you for your time, Nancy
