Personal Statement

Personally, I believe I am an invaluable asset to any team simply because of my leadership abilities. These very skills-cultivated from years in leadership classes, student government, and captain positions on my sports teams- are what drive my love for being a goalie. From my distinctive position I have the ability to control the game in a way that other players don't, which I believe to be both humbling and thrilling. Although I have only been a goalie for 2 years, I hope to be able to take my leadership skills in and out of the pool to the next level in college.
