Personal Statement
My name is Rebecca Kolarov, and I attend Laguna Hills High School in Orange County California. I am apart of the class of 2023. I have been playing waterpolo since I was in 6th grade. I started out as a field player then switched to be a goalie. I have now been a goalie for the last 5 years. I continue to challenge and set new goals for myself both inside and out of the pool.
I feel that I am a good candidate to my team because I am able to assess situations within the pool, and communicate well with my team mates. I am able to take corrections and apply them quickly within games and practices.
Within school I take my academics very seriously. I have maintained a weighted gpa of 4.6 and a non-weighted gpa of 4.0. I am currently in two AP classes and three other honors classes. In the future, I am hoping to continue my education in the field of science and engineering.
