Hi, my name is Alexis Smith and I am an aspiring Orthodontist. Water polo has played a major role in my life for as long as I can remember. I have made countless friends, learned what true hard work and so much more through the sport. Though it may seem like I spend all my time on the pool deck, I like to spend my free time reading, painting, hiking and snow skiing. I enjoy pushing the limits, whether it's dropping the interval at practice or sending a new line on the mountain. I am very coachable and not afraid of asking questions; I can also keep my cool in high pressure situations. Academics are a top priority when it comes to college. I have done whatever I can to get ahead in high school including taking AP, Honors and extra college classes. This will allow me to get a head start and/or possibly complete my AA. My current academic plan is to major in Pre-Dental or Biology and attend dental school with my ultimate goal of becoming an Orthodontist. I love a good challenge in the pool and in the classroom.
