I consider myself a good candidate to play at the collegiate level because my knowledge of the game serves as an advantage over competition. My experience as a water polo coach and goalie of two years has increased my knowledge of the game by giving me a perspective different than an average player would hae. This different perspective has equipped me with the tools necessary to being a sucessful field player. These two experiences have also given me the insight on what it takes to be a team. I feel that if you play for your team, it will excel and come out on top. By giving every ounce of your will in everything you do, it will show not only in yourself as an individual but through the relationships developed. On an academic level, I have been awarded the position of Editor in Chief of the school newspaper. I also was given the student of the year award by my academy (Sports Professions and Recreational Careers Academy) and have been accepted into the National Honor Society. What sets me apart from other players is my love for the game and passion for learning.
