My name is Makaelee Hansberger, I have been playing water polo for eight seasons for Newport Harbor Water Polo. At 10 years old I embarked upon my journey at Newport Water Polo and have been proud to call it my home for the past 8 seasons.  I am currently a Junior playing for Newport Harbor High School, which is one of the top girl’s programs in the country.  Whether I am a starting or coming off the bench I am always a consummate teammate, working to help improve my team. My dedication and work ethic has allowed me to grow not only as a player but has helped me become a better student athlete.  I am a utility player who brings strong defensive skills to the pool and my goal is to continue to play water polo at the collegiate level.
