In college, my goal is to continue my athletic and academic career while playing water polo. In my sophomore season, I received the defensive player of the year award and made the 2nd All-League Team during my first season playing at the Varsity level. Playing sports while taking honors and AP courses have taught me how to become accountable for managing my time wisely and to not only keep myself in check but to set an example for my teammates to show how important balance is. As a goalie, having determination, being able to shake off frustration, and having a strong mentality is essential in performing at the top of my game. I believe that I have what it takes to be a leader and play at the collegiate level.
