I have been competitively swimming since I was 6 years old. I started playing water polo 3 years ago, with the encouragement of my coach, and have been improving year after year. I joined a club team over the summer of my sophomore year of high school, and fell even more in love with sport. I had tried many other sports before swimming, but nothing really peaked my interest until I found swimming. The combination of swimming and water polo keeps me focused with a strict schedule that must be followed in order to reach and maintain both my athletic and academic goals. It has also introduced to many people that I am glad to call my friends, and that will stay my friends for years to come. In both sports I always set myself a goal, wether it be at the beginning of the season or at the beginning of a game, and I always reach those goals. So I am looking for a college that will keep just as focused on academics and athletics, as I previously have had, along with a team that will help me in achieving my goals while supporting me no matter what.
