My name is Hayden Carlson. I aspire to compete on collegiate level women's water polo team at a school with high academic rigor.
I have played at Rose Bowl Water Polo since I was 9 years old. Currently, I am on the 16A roster under Coach Adam Roth and the South Pasadena High School varsity water polo team. In 2012, I was awarded the Maureen O'Toole Sportsmanship Award at the Turbo Champions Cup. In 8th grade, I made the Development National Team and was recognized as an All-American in the 2014 Junior Olympics. During my freshman year, I was awarded the Nick Johnson Inspiration Award at ODP. This past summer, I was recognized as an Academic and Honorable Mention All-American for 16U. I was named MVP both my freshman and sophomore years for my high school team. I am known for my endurance level, coachability, and consistent effort.
In and out of the pool, I push myself to my full potential. Academically, I am a honors level student in accelerated and advanced placement classes.
