I strive for competition and challenge when it comes to both my academics and athletics. I'm constantly wanting to do better and improve in whatever way I can by taking pre-AP classes and spending extra time at practice. I'm looking to play water polo at a competitive level at a college with academic standards that will challenge me.
Some of my best water polo skills would include my speed, my egg beat, my shots, and my ability to read the pool and move people around accordingly. When it comes to my personality in the pool, I am competitive and great at communication. I'm all about the game once I'm playing, and I'm always willing to learn and correct myself if needed. I've been playing water polo for 4 years now, between club and high school seasons, and I earned the "MVP" award on the JV team my freshman year.
Leading up to playing polo I started swimming competitively at the age of 5. While on this swim team, I was recognized multiple times for my adaptability in the pool and leadership skills by being given the "Coaches Award". This is where I earned my speed, and when I saw that I could put it to a purpose with polo, I fell in love. I've been swimming varsity events since the beginning of my high school career and made it to Valley Championships my freshman year. I was also awarded the "MVP" again that year in swim season. I plan to continue this path I began and constantly improve academically and athletically.
I plan to work harder as I mature as an athlete, scholar, and person. I stand out from other recruits due to my overall competitiveness and connection to the game. As of now, I don't have any specific colleges in mind because of the time I'd like to take to look at colleges and their programs in depth.
