2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
My academics are very important to me, I work really hard to maintain a high GPA and have always taken classes that challenge me and make me grow. I love water polo and the team aspect of it. I am not the loudest player on the team but I am very reliable and my coaches always know they can count on me to do whatever they need and am always a good example of an athlete on their team. This season I was awarded a very respected award in our community, the Kennedie Ryan Award. This award is given to athletes who show leadership and good character inside and outside of the water.

- ActivitiesThis year I participated in our Solar Boat STEAM program. Our group won two awards. The Media and documentation award as well as an award for our Circuit structure. I Coach the youth of our local water polo club. Starting off in the splashball program and have now moved up to coach the 12u team. This past JO season I helped coach our clubs first team to go to Junior olympics. Most of the kids had been playing for less than a year. With the help of my co-coach we coached our team to 13th place in the platinum division. This was a huge feat considering two teenagers were coaching this new team. I took my water polo knowledge and skills and helped these kids achieve what many though they could not.
